The Pretty Reckless frontwoman, 18, confessed: “I’m completely neurotic, totally anxious and high-strung all the time.
“I sleep for about four hours a night, or day, really.
“I go to bed at 9am, sleep for four hours, then get up and start the day again.”She added: “To be honest, I don’t know what to do when I’m not working.
“I lose my mind if I’m not constantly doing something.”Since leaving US TV hit Gossip Girl, teen star Taylor has had to juggle her music career with several high-profile modelling campaigns.
The pretty blonde has been the face of New Look as well as Madonna’s fashion line Material Girl.
She opened up about her unique style in the revealing chat with FHM, saying: “I love stripper shoes and I always try to find the tallest ones. I’m always surprised no one talks about my shoes.
“I’m, like, on stage in 15-inch heels but people talk more about my eye make-up, which has stayed the same forever. I always think that’s funny.“I got into heels when I was little, though. My mum’s really short so she always wears really tall heels and I used to steal them and now it’s just a part of my everyday life.”

Taylor Momsen takes the cover of FHM‘s March issue, currently on newsstands in the UK and hitting the States in about a month.
Here’s what the 18-year-old Pretty Reckless singer had to share:
On her look: “I love stripper shoes and I always try to find the tallest ones. I’m always surprised no one talks about my shoes. I’m, like, on stage in 15-inch heels but people talk more about my eye make-up, which has stayed the same forever. I always think that’s funny. I’m 5’8”. So I’m really tall.”
On her ideal guy: “I don’t like guys who overdress. And I don’t like guys who try too hard. My biggest thing is be yourself. Be yourself and if people don’t like you, then they can suck a d*ck. If they don’t like you, then they’re not the type of person you should be around. I don’t like people who pretend to be something to fit into a certain crowd or guys who pay more attention to how they look than you do – that’s not a good thing.”
On fronting a rock band: “It’s awesome. They’re like my best friends. We have the best chemistry. There’s never a bad day and I love it. It’s like, you know, living the dream. That sounds so contrived, but it’s true. Most of my favourite bands are from England. You guys have the best bands. The Beatles, Zeppelin, The Who, you have frickin’ all of them! America loses there. We still have a couple of good ones, but you guys have the greats.”

Let’s be honest, February is not one of the year’s most stellar months. Not only is every man and his cat penniless from the festive period, it’s still months before the sight of girls frolicking in parks and leaping for Frisbees in summery dresses is once again a common occurrence. (Note: if you do see any semi-clad girls doing this over the next few weeks, as much as you might initially feel aroused, it’s almost certainly a sign of mental imbalance and you should escort them to a medical professional immediately. Or lend them your coat.)
But there is at least one reason to be cheerful. And that is the awesome new issue of FHM. It’s a good ’un, and we promise there’s enough brilliance over the 150-odd pages to beat any winter blues that may be attacking you into a mushy pulp of joy. For starters there are some very sexy pictures of some very lovely girls, including newbie rocker Taylor Momsen and her adult superstar chum Jenna Haze. There are also a bunch of meaty articles we reckon you’ll enjoy reading, including an investigation into whether footy is still racist. On top of all that, there’s a photo of a monkey holding a mug on page 39. And if that doesn’t put a smile on your face, then you’re obviously dead inside. Either that, or your family were murdered by a rabid tribe of monkeys when you were a child and it’s provoked horrific flashbacks. In which case, we’re deeply sorry.

New York rock band The Pretty Reckless, fronted by vocalist Taylor Momsen, guitarist Ben Phillips, bassist Mark Damon, and drummer Jamie Perkins will hit the road for a six week headline tour commencing March 9th in Tucson, Arizona at Club Congress. The Medicine Tour, with the support of The Parlor Mob, visits major cities in the U.S. and Canada before wrapping on April 25th in Orlando, Florida.
“We’re busy rehearsing new songs,” Momsen says. “I’m excited to play them for our fans and give them a taste of what’s to come from The Pretty Reckless.”
2011 was a busy year for The Pretty Reckless. The group spent over nine months on the road in support of their headline tour as well as opening slots on the Guns N’ Roses and Evanescence tours. The Pretty Reckless released Light Me Up, which The New York Times called “salacious, convincingly muscular, and unnervingly rowdy.”
